Vadim Neselovskyi [p]

The Friedenskirchengemeinde and USB Foundation had organised a charity concert at short notice together with the Ukrainian pianist Vadim Neselovskyi for the benefit of Ukrainian children. Vadim played excerpts from his Odessa Suite presented last year at eastPLUGGED®, supplemented by the piece Круг (Circle), which was written by him after the annexation of Crimea, as well as a vocal piece as a tribute to all the mothers of this world. Against the background of the war in Ukraine and the current situation of Odessa, it was a very emotional, profound concert with numerous dark acoustic accents, but also optimistic, almost elated views of the future.

Thank you Vadim for your great contribution to this charity concert and thank you to all the donors for their generous support!

All in all we were able to transfer a total donation amount of 50.000€ (!) to the SOS Children's Villages on 28.03.2022 to support their work in the Ukraine. Addendum: We are very sad that Mr. P.... started first attacks on Odessa the day after the concert.
