VIBE FACTOR Omar Sosa [p], Joo Kraus [tr], Diego Piñera [dr]

“Most f..in place” were Omar Sosa´s [p] spontaneous words right after the concert, expressing his enthusiasm for the spiritual space of the Friedenskirche, its tremendous acoustics, the great audience and the overall atmosphere which he had just experienced together with Joo Kraus [tr] and Diego Piñera [dr]. In Vibe Factor, the three complement each other perfectly, perhaps because each of them can also set their own musical positions. While nearly all pieces were extremely rhythmic, the musical spectrum ranged from classical music, jazz, raggae and rap to pop music. “See the real world” was the title of one of the pieces, but what we were able to listen to for almost two hours that evening was in particular a ‘fantastic (sound)world’.
