Jürgen Becker & Vladylsav Sendecki "Die Ursache liegt in der Zukunft"

After 63 eastPLUGGED® concerts, the program featured – for the first time - a mix of music and spoken words. In the end, this combination proved to be a true symbiosis.

JÜRGEN BECKER, founder and longtime entertainer of “Mitternachtsspitzen”—the german cabaret show with the highest number of TV programs —was almost unstoppable: so dynamic, eloquent, critical, rhetorically, sharp, provocative, and enlightening was his explanation of why the causes lie in the future. There was plenty of laughter, smiling, and applause.

There was also a big round of applause for pianist VLADYSLAV SENDECKI, who inspired not only the music fans in the audience with his free improvisations—pushing the grand piano to its limits on more than one occasion.

The symbiosis of words and music was based in the fact that Jürgen Becker’s thematic segments alternated with and complemented Vladyslav Sendecki’s musical interludes., although both met for the first time during this night at Ratingen. While Vladyslav performed his musical pieces, Jürgen Becker was able to regenerate for his next round; the audience could reflect on the latest joke while relaxing to the wonderful music; and Vladyslav Sendecki was able to musically interpret the themes and moods of Jürgen Becker’s preceding text segment.

The closing performance showed two happy artists in front of an enthusiastic audience.
