SHALOSH "Tales of Utopia"

The selection of previous eastPLUGGED® concerts was made with the aim of providing new acoustic accents within a common musical frame. Gadi Stern [p], David Michaeli [b] and drummer Matan Assayag followed this approach perfectly in a piano trio format as SHALOSH (=3): playing musical arrangements from rock, classic, jazz and folk to electronic, including interpretations from Oasis (‘Don't Look Back In Anger’) and Aqua (‘Barbie Girl’).

With the addition ‘Of Ratingen’, their piece ‘Entrance To The Great City’ became the local anthem for this eastPLUGGED® night and the new mayor would have been delighted. Finally, respect to the Ratingen audience for their impressive spontaneous choral accompaniment to one of the pieces, which opens up new options for future gigs (?)
