Dominic Miller & Band "Vagabond & more"

The sound check in the afternoon already hinted at what was to follow: Dominic Miller [git], Jason Rebello [p], Nicolas Fiszman [b] and Ziv Ravitz [dr] were in a great mood, delighted with the acoustics at the venue, and prepared themselves for the evening with Beethoven [Jason, see video] and Beatles tunes. The concert began with great applause from the audience. It ended - after a solo encore by Dominic Miller - with standing ovations. And in between: another highlight in our eastPLUGGED® concert series. The four presented a repertoire with elements of jazz, pop and acoustic folk, but also classical and Latin elements, mainly based on Dominic's own compositions [including the world premiere of “David”], from quiet ballads to crescendos and grooves. Goosebump feeling when STING titles like “Fragile” were played. Finally, each of the four solos was an extra highlight, with the acoustic waves of Dominic's guitar strings flying like arrows through the sound space of the Friedenskirche.
